Vihamana - Main Restaurant:  The main restaurant at Kurumba Maldives offers fresh buffets with a wide array of dishes for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. With a different themed buffet every night, the restaurant provides a true dining experience. Examples of our range of evening themed buffets include Maldivian Night, Tastes of Asia, Senses & Spices, South American, International, Pan Asian and Mediterranean. Vihamana is always a fresh experience.

Ocean Grill : The Ocean Grill is located on the edge of the beach with an overwater deck offering a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. The menu is inspired by Maldivian and Indian Ocean cuisine, matched with quality grills that are seasoned with flavoured salts and spices.

The Hamakaze : Meaning "Ocean Winds", Hamakaze is the Sushi Bar and Teppen-yaki counter serving a unique style of cuisine from the Land of the Rising Sun. Your chef will prepare and cook your meal in front of you with skill and flair. With a selection of ocean fresh seafood and much more, Hamakaze is an enjoyable and lively dining experience.

Al Qasr : Experience Arabian Nights at Kurumba Maldives. Come and savour fare from the mystical Middle East. Grand palatial décor does justice to its name, Al Qasr - The Palace.

Set with Arabic and other Middle Eastern artifacts, Al Qasr serves traditional Lebanese specialties - charcoal grilled meats, succulent kebabs, mezze and a variety of dips.

Kurumba Mahal : Cuisine from the far reaches of Northern India. On offer is a mouthwatering selection of traditionally cooked authentic dishes with an emphasis on flavour - flavoursome tandoories, curries - some spicy, others subtle - naan and paratta breads and sweet desserts combine to create a dinner fit for a Maharaja

Kurumba Mahal is a favourite amongst guests, providing a special experience and whilst it caters for everyones tastes, lovers of Indian food will be deeply impressed.

Ming Court : Serving a wide selection of traditional dishes from the Canton and Schezuan regions of China, Ming Court offers wonderful flavours of the East set in a contemporary Oriental setting.
Offering a wide variety of juice drinks to soft ice creams and milkshakes, the pool bar makes sure you are well cared for and looked after- providing for all your pool side requirements. There is no need to carry all those fully stuffed bags and towels to our pool, just simply enjoy yourself.

La Cucina : Italian cuisine, served in an elegant setting with friendly and warm service. The menu is modern yet inspired by the hearty flavours of Tuscany and Lombardy, Sardinia and Sicily.

Kurumba Café : Located opposite the main pool, Kurumba Café is the laidback all-day dining restaurant at Kurumba Maldives. For a selection of international favourites, including sandwiches, burgers, pizza and Asian favourites, the Café is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or a meal.

The Kurumba Café menu is also available at poolside tables, and on Raha Beach at poolside, where you can dine with your feet in the sand under a palm tree looking at the ocean.

The Beach Bar : For many guests, the evening begins at the Beach Bar (not to mention, many an afternoon!!) for enjoying the lovely twilight hours while sipping creative cocktails. This open-air pavilion features a wide overwater deck, perfect for enjoying the passing marine life throughout the day and night. A combination of live bands and djs, as well as a vast selection of cool chill-out tunes creates a relaxed mood for many an enjoyable evening.

Sand Bar : Located on the western end of the island, this bar is perfect for a refreshing beverage or light snack with your feet in the sand. This is an ideal place to watch the sun setting over the Indian Ocean.

Sunset & Dolphine Cruises : Experience a relaxing cruise in search of wild dolphins whilst viewing the sun setting over the Indian Ocean. The Maldives is home to several species of dolphins, including Spinners, Bottle-Nosed Dolphins and Pilot Whales, which can be seen gracing the waters around Kurumba. Watch them jumping and doing their friendly tricks as they frolic and play in the wake of our boat. This is one of the most fun-filled and moving excursions you can experience while in the Maldives, and will create lasting memories for years to come.

Glass-Bottom Boat : A unique and wonderful way of experiencing the rich marine underworld that is the hallmark of the Maldives. Glide across the waters in our Glass Bottom Boat, witnessing the stunning colours of the coral reefs that have blossomed from the ancient volcanic remnants that created the atolls and lagoons. Hundreds of colourful fish species and unique marine creatures live amongst this varied ecosystem, providing a kaleidoscope of colour and wonder.

Sea Plane Picnic : This trip of a lifetime, operated by Bywave, starts off with a short trip to the seaplane port where you will board a sea plane to be whisked over a patch-work of turquoise and blue sea, dotted with islands on your way to the South Male Atoll. Upon landing on the ocean, you will be taken away by speed boat to experience an isolated sand cay and explore the corals surrounding it. You will then journey to Sunrise Island for a beach barbeque. After the lunch, visit a local island. This amazing journey ends as you watch your seaplane appear from the sky above, skim across the water to pick you up and return to the airport.

Maldivian Experience : This two-island adventure starts with snorkeling a impressive coral reef. This is a shallow reef that has abundant marine life. You will have an hour in which to explore, before returning to the boat to compare stories with your fellow enthusiasts. We then take you to experience part of a normal working day at a local village, where you can immerse yourself in the lives of a local Maldivian community. Stroll past the schools, Mosques, and the boatyards, before stopping off to sample the local craft and souvenir shops. After your village visit, you will be brought by boat to Kuda Bandos, a nearby island, to enjoy a barbeque picnic and relax on the beach.

Sports Fishing : The endless sea surrounding Kurumba offers a fishing enthusiast the opportunity to test their skills against the finest and fastest the Indian Ocean has to offer. There are a variety of fishing trips available depending on your desires – from big game sports fishing to deep sea angling. We encourage the practice of "Catch and Release" and sustainable fishing to ensure that the rich marine ecosystem of the Maldives remains pristine.

Male Tour : While in Kurumba, you may want to visit nearby Male, the capital city of the Maldives Imagine building a city with all the necessary roads, buildings and facilities upon a small island, and still leaving space for transportation, lovely parks and grand Mosques. All of this has been achieved in the capital of the Maldives, Male. This unique city, only 2km long and 1km wide, is waiting to be explored with experienced local guides.

Once you have had your fill of culture, there are small shops to be explored while you drink in the atmosphere of this quaint, tiny island capital.

Diving Centre : Euro Divers offers diving at Kurumba Maldives and many of the best dive sites in the region are within a 5 -30 minute boat trip from the resort. Dive sites to explore include Manta Point, wreck dives and some of the best drift dives in The Maldives. The dive centre is fully equipped with state of the art dive gear and nitrox.

Diving Courses : Euro Divers offers a selection of internationally recognized PADI dive courses. Whether you are just beginning, or are venturing into higher level certification, the Dive Centre is able to design a schedule around your holiday.

Diving For Kids : While at Kurumba, children can enjoy an introduction to the amazing underwater marine life of the Maldives. The dive centre offers SASY (Supplied Air System for Youth) Dive for children between the ages of 5 and 7 years. This is a dive experience in the shallow lagoon with an instructor who is trained to provide this unique youth diving experience.

For children between 8 and 9 years, a Bubble Maker programme is available to provide a real scuba dive experience in the Kurumba Maldives lagoon or on the Kurumba Maldives house reef with a maximum depth of 2 metres.

Discover Scuba Diving : For those that have always wanted to test the waters, but are not sure if diving will be "their thing" Discover Scuba Diving is an excellent trial diving experience. It includes a short introductory course, followed by a shallow water dive in the lagoon. The highlight of Discover Scuba is a house reef dive or shallow boat dive in the afternoon to hone your newfound skills. Discover Scuba Diving is available most days on a request basis and is available for adults or children 10 years and over.

Snorkeling : The Kurumba Maldives lagoon is surrounded by wave breakers that reduce waves and currents which makes it excellent for snorkeling. With an average depth of 1 – 1.5 metres, it is easy to find small coral outcrops with a variety of marine life. Outside the wave breakers, there is a greater variety of coral reef, which is home to varied fish and sea creatures, including sting rays, turtles, a vast array of colourful fishes.

Snorkeling Safari : The coral reefs of the Maldives are home to a huge variety of marine life and some of the different species have distinct preferences of location that they choose to call home. Our guided Snorkelling Safari will take you on a journey to discover what lives on and around at least two rich coral reefs.

 

CONVENTION CENTRE : The resort offers the most complete and largest conferencing and meeting facilities in when compares, with an array of available meeting venues in the Maldives. Meeting rooms range from a ballroom, to a collection of private breakout VIP rooms and Boardrooms, as well as state of the art audio visual equipment and support services.

Kurumba's main convention hall is well-appointed with high ceilings and is an open room without pillars obscuring your delegates' views. This meeting space can cater for up to 250 guests in a variety of layouts.

There is also a choice of 4 breakout rooms plus a VIP Lounge and a Boardroom. Other restaurants can be used throughout the day for additional spaces as required.
